USAID needs your stories to educate the public about our programs, explain how U.S. development assistance works,
and demonstrate the impact USAID has on peoples' lives around the world.
In particular, video can bring a story to life so that we convey information that the everyday reader can care about and understand.
Video can bring stories to life through interviews and first-person testimonials.
A powerful video accompanied by a succinct story can powerfully illustrate how USAID is making a difference.
Two or three paragraphs of body text provide background to the situation.

Your video should be uploaded first to a video hosting website such as YouTube.
Once you upload your video, you will need to have the URL of the video from the video hosting service to complete this form.

the Telling Our Story system will require a video hosting service that provides an "embed this video" option to allow us to display your video and story at the same time.
